Nottingham Council Homes: Biggest Project 'In Generation'
A £2.85m project to build new council homes in Nottingham will be the "biggest in a
generation", according to city council officials. The 26 council houses are part of a plan to
build 350 new council houses by 2017. The project will give 10 apprentices the
chance to work on new builds for the first time, a spokesman said. Nottingham City Homes chief executive Nick
Murphy said: "This is the start of a new house building programme that
will be the biggest for a generation - creating much-needed family homes.” Read more on the BBC website.
