ALMO Returns to Council

High Peak Community Housing has become the latest ALMO to be taken back in-house by its local authority.  The reintegration of the 4,100-home ALMO, set up in March 2004, is already underway following a consultation which ended at the end of February.  Derbyshire-based High Peak Borough Council said the move would generate "significant savings" that could be used for frontline housing services that will benefit both tenants and leaseholders.
