Sir Bob Kerslake Appointed as Permanent Secretary at CLG

Sir Bob Kerslake, chief executive of the HCA has been appointed to the position of Permanent Secretary at the CLG. Sir Bob, who will be the senior Civil Servant at the CLG, will take up his new post on 1 November. The HCA Board has begun the process for recruiting a new chief executive from its existing group of directors initially, on an interim basis. The process will be completed as soon as is practicable.
