Nominations Open for SLCNG Awards

The Social Landlords Crime and Nuisance Group's Delivering Results Awards 2010 are now open for nominations. The awards recognise the contribution of residents, social landlords and their partners to tackling anti-social behaviour effectively. There are four categories of award. The closing date for receipt of entries is 10 September 2010. Winners will be announced and awards presented at the SLCNG Annual Conference in Birmingham on 2 November 2010. UK Housing Awards: Finalists Announced

More than 70 housing organisations have reached the final stages of the prestigious UK Housing Awards for their outstanding work to improve the lives of people in their communities. The UK Housing Awards, now in their fourteenth year, attracted over 250 entries. The awards recognise excellence across 10 categories and present prizes for outstanding achievement in housing in Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and for the UK as a whole. The final winners will be announced by the Chartered Institute of Housing at a ceremony in London on Wednesday November 10. Find out which organisations have been nominated on the 24dash website.

UK Housing Awards 2010

The UK Housing Awards represent excellence across the housing sector. All entries are welcome whether your organisation is large or small, rural or urban, public or private sector. Housing Heroes Shortlist Unveiled

The shortlisted entrants for awards that recognise the unsung ‘heroes’ of the housing sector have been announced. The Housing Heroes awards, which are jointly run by Inside Housing and the Chartered Institute of Housing, were set up last year to acknowledge the work of front-line housing practitioners. For the 2010 awards there are 14 trophies up for grabs, recognising everyone from the best HR, maintenance and finance/procurement team to the inspirational board member and tenant. Included in the category “Financial or Procurement Team of the Year” is NCH’s own Procurement Team so congratulations to them on their nomination. Read the full list of nominees on the CIH website.
