Allocations Practice Brief

CIH, in partnership with CLG, is producing a new Practice Brief to illustrate how local authorities can deliver local flexibilities and community engagement around the allocation of social housing. To inform this publication, the CIH is keen to hear from local authorities with regards to the various ways they communicate/engage with housing applicants and the wider community around all aspects of their allocation scheme; the range of issues in terms of local priorities/circumstances that are taken into account to determine relative priority in allocating housing; and the use of local lettings schemes.
