ALMO Launches Benefits Campaign

A Leeds ALMO has launched an awareness drive to encourage struggling families to claim benefits they entitled to following a rule change. West North West Homes Leeds says it is the first social housing organisation in the UK to launch such a campaign after changes to the benefits system which mean child and council tax benefit claims are not taken into account when calculating the amount of housing benefit a family could receive.
