Grant Shapps has reiterated his intention to ensure there is 'effective economic regulation' in the social housing sector, following speculation that the HCA will take over the economic regulatory function of the TSA. A CLG spokesperson said: "Grant Shapps has made clear his intention to ensure there is effective economic regulation to make sure we get value for taxpayers' money.
