Nearly a quarter of tenants in the private rented sector
(PRS) accept they will never own their own home, a new survey has revealed. Knight
Frank's poll of 3,500 PRS tenants found that 24% believe they will always rent
their home, while 15% said they would be in the sector for a further five or
more years. Another 24% said they expected to leave the PRS within two years.
