As winter bites, a new poll of social housing tenants
shows that a quarter of them are unhappy with the cost of heating their home.
Around 70% say reducing energy bills is the most important improvement a
landlord could make to their property. The poll asked tenants how happy they
are in their home with 38% saying energy costs affected their overall
satisfaction, second only to problems with their neighbours. Around a third of
residents do not know whether they have any form of insulation in their home
and 17% think the quality of walls in their property is poor or very poor. Read
