Dr Rupa Huq:
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government,
how many affordable houses have been built in the UK in the last 12 months.
Kit Malthouse:
In 2017-18 47,355 affordable homes were completed, an increase of 12 per cent
on the previous year, of these over 7,100 (15 per cent) were in London. Details
for homes delivered in 2018 -19 will be published in the Departments annual
Affordable Housing Supply statistics.
