Housing Benefit Issues for ALMOs Owning Stock

The NFA has had reports of some ALMOs being treated as private sector landlords for housing benefit purposes for the new build stock they own, even though it is let at a social rent. The NFA has sought advice from the DWP on this matter as there seemed to be an inconsistent approach to this issue by different local authorities.
