New Social Homes Registration Up By 39%

A total of 11,474 new social homes were registered in the three months to May 2010, an increase of 39 per cent on the same period last year. The largest increase in new home registrations were in the west Midlands, where 1,304 homes were registered (more than three times the previous year’s figure), London (1,981 homes, up 83 per cent) and the south west (1,651 homes, up 71 per cent).
