Social landlords have provided a near-universal response rate in publishing their first annual reports to tenants. The Tenant Services Authority (TSA) has received this impressive level of engagement from local authority and housing association landlords and welcomes the overwhelming support to this key component of its co-regulatory approach. The regulator requires landlords, together with their tenants, to provide an annual report for their tenants, that sets out how they are meeting the TSA standards and delivering services to tenants. The reports also set out how they will address their tenants’ local priorities in the coming year. This successful response rate demonstrates the sector’s commitment to the regulatory framework and co-regulation and its willingness to work directly with tenants in their local communities. It is also a platform from which to move forward with the new focus on local engagement. Read more on the TSA website.
