England will face a shortfall of 750,000 homes by 2025, a centre-left think tank has warned. The Institute of Public Policy Research have published a report, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, which makes projections about future housing supply. The report finds that, if the government’s projections for household growth are accurate and housing supply continues at the 160,000 additions a year seen over the last 20 years, England will have 750,000 fewer homes than it needs. Download the report from the IPPR website.
