The number of working people in the Black Country who
rely on housing benefit has jumped by 75 per cent in four years, new figures
show. Official DWP statistics show that the number of employed people in
receipt of housing benefit has gone up from 10,627 in 2010 to 18,640 last year.
The total number of people receiving the benefit, however, went up by just two
