Governance Of Equalities, Diversity And Human Rights Diagnostic

Good governance involves providing clear direction, anticipating risks, consulting, communicating and acting so that the optimum use can be made of public resources. There are four areas covered by this diagnostic to help an organisation or partnership develop good governance practice. The diagnostic is based on the Good Governance Standard for Public Services. The framework and core principles have been adopted by the Audit Commission and the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.
