MHCLG has allocated £125,000 funding for research into
housing solutions to tackle loneliness, a new report reveals. The Loneliness
Annual Report 2020 released by the Department for Digital, Culture Media and
Sport (DCMS) recognises the research pilot MHCLG has underway to evaluate the
value for money and impact of housing interventions on loneliness. That pilot
also looks to land insight into the impact of community-led housing and
co-housing on reducing loneliness across all ages; and explore best practice in
