Ian Austin MP: Figures showing the number of homes built and acquired for social rent are included in Live Table 1009 on the CLG website for each year from 1991-92. The figures include both local authority and registered social landlord completions. 29,370 homes were provided for social rent in 2007-08. This is the third consecutive year these figures have increased.
