St Mungo’s and the Scottish Council for Single Homeless are supporting a European drive to end homelessness across the continent. The campaign was launched last week at the European Parliament in Brussels by FEANTSA, the European Federation of National Organisations Working with the Homeless, as part of the European year for combating poverty and social exclusion. Homelessness charity St Mungo’s backed the campaign as the only English individual charity in the accompanying handbook. The handbook presents successful examples of good practice to end homelessness. Other UK organisations to feature include Scottish charity Furniture Plus and Homeless Link.
