Changes Made To the Use of the Shared Accommodation Rate

The Department for Work and Pensions have issued full guidance on the shared accommodation rate for single people aged under 35 who live on their own and who are in receipt of Local Housing Allowance. Although this does not directly impact on the social housing sector, it is expected to add greater pressure to waiting lists for social housing. Download a full copy of the guidance from the DWP website.
