Protest Planned Against Social Housing 'Attacks'

A pressure group is planning to protest outside parliament against government attacks on social housing tenants and call for more homes to be built. Defend Council Housing is holding the Housing Emergency protest on 15 November to oppose the proposed changes to tenancies, rents and benefits set out in the Localism Bill.
