Shapps Targets Second Home-Owning Tenants

Housing minister Grant Shapps is planning a crackdown on wealthy council tenants who own a second home. Mr Shapps said it is ‘wrong’ that nearly 60,000 council tenants own another home. ‘It is all legal but morally it seems wrong when people are waiting desperately for just one home,’ he said.
