Factory Built Houses to Help Cut Waiting Lists

The first homes to roll off the production line at a new timber home manufacturing hub are being erected in Walsall as part of a £10 million housing development. More than 100 new homes have been partly funded by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) which awarded the scheme a £2 million grant. The energy efficient homes, which will cost less to run than more traditional houses, are being manufactured under the name LoCaL Homes. Homes will be available for people to rent affordably or to buy through shared ownership. Read more on the Accord Group website.
