It's My Proudest Moment...

Janet Storar, chairwoman of Nottingham City Homes' Board, has been made an MBE. The award was given for her services to community relations, social housing and diversity in Nottingham. Mrs Storar, 64, of Sherwood, has been an NCH tenant for more than 35 years. She said: "I am very surprised to be given the honour. My proudest moment up to now was becoming chairwoman of the board, but this is even more of an honour. "Together, we work to improve council housing in Nottingham and make sure our tenants and leaseholders have the best possible service."
