Housing Benefit: Young People – Parliamentary Written Answer

Mr Bain: To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions if he will make an assessment of the potential effects of the withdrawal of housing benefit from those aged under 25 years on levels of (a) homelessness and (b) poverty in each of the next four financial years
Ms Ritchie: To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what his policy is on the removal of housing benefit for people aged under 26 years; Steve Webb: Current Government policy does not include withdrawing housing support from people aged under 25.
