Huw Irranca-Davies: To ask the Secretary of State for
Communities and Local Government what steps his Department has taken to
increase the availability and supply of affordable housing in rural areas.
Mr Prisk: Nearly 10% of the funding for the Affordable Homes
Programme (2011-12 to 2014-15) outside London
has been allocated to rural communities of fewer than 3,000 households.
