Housing and planning minister Brandon Lewis has made the
private rented sector a key battleground for the next general election. Lewis
used the RESI conference in Newport, Wales, to plead with property investors to
prioritise the country’s embryonic corporate-backed home rental market. And he
criticised Labour and Liberal Democrat PRS policies, which he said could be
