Tenants in receipt of universal credit (UC) who fall into
arrears will see up to 20% of their monthly payment diverted directly to their
landlord, the DWP has announced. Previously, the department held that 5% of UC
could be diverted directly to landlords in arrears cases. Read more on the DWP website.
