A housing association has set up its own estate agency to
help raise funds for new affordable homes. Two Rivers Housing says its TwoCan
property sales and lettings agency will "capitalise on the expertise"
of the parent organisation and bring an ethical approach to the industry. Barry Thompson, corporate director of
resources at Two Rivers Housing, said: “It will generate fresh sources of
income to replace reduced government funds, allowing us to continue providing
affordable homes and community amenities for those who need them, whilst
