Ministers have chosen Kevin Parry to replace current
Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) chairman Robert Napier on an interim basis. Mr
Parry, who was appointed to the HCA board in July 2014, will hold the reins
from 1 January 2016 while the CLG begins the recruitment process for a permanent chairman. Mr Napier will step
down at the end of the year as his term in office comes to an end, after
leading the HCA since its creation in 2008. He was reappointed for a three-year
term in 2011, and this was later extended until 2015. Mr Parry is a senior
independent director of Intermediate Capital Group Plc and a non-executive
director of Daily Mail and General Trust Plc. Read more on Inside Housing.
