Outreach teams recorded 1,370 first time rough-sleepers
in London over the first three months of 2017 – up 15% on the same period last
year. All told, 2,751 people were found sleeping rough across the capital in
January-March. That’s up 7% on the same period last year. Overall, rough
sleeping in England has risen by 16% in the last year and has more than doubled
