New research has revealed that 8 out of 10 brokers
believe that an average house price rise of 2%+ is on the cards for this year.
According to the survey, 12% believe that the average house price will fall
this year and 6% said that there will be no change. The most recent Nationwide
house price index shows that prices fell by 0.2% in March taking account of
seasonal factors making the average UK house price £211,625. Annual house price
growth remained steady at 2.1% but the average London house price fell by 1%
