A new parliamentary group pitches a better
policy environment that recognises the role of housing providers in
tackling unemployment and under-employment among tenants. The new Housing and
Employment All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) delivered its pitch as new
research by the Centre for Social Justice revealead households living in social
housing are four times more likely to be workless than those living in private housing.
