The average rent for a property in the UK grew by 0.96%
in the year to March, as slow rents in London (0.57%) continued to weigh down
on otherwise resilient rental growth in the rest of the UK (1.16%). That puts
the average rent paid for a property in the UK at £1,217, or £772 excluding
London, according to the latest Landbay Rental Index, powered by MIAC. Annual
growth hotspots include Edinburgh City (5.97%), Nottingham (4.28%), and Blaenau
