A new survey commissioned by BECG and conducted by
Savanta ComRes has shown that Labour’s pledge to introduce rent controls is the
most popular built environment manifesto pledge as the UK prepares for polling
day. As outlined in reports, almost three-quarters of voters (74%) support this
policy – but only when not “explicitly connected” to party leader Jeremy
Corbyn. The survey asked for the public’s views on the main built environment
