The Community Led Homes (CLH) partnership has released
research revealing that more than one third (36%) of those who live on
their own say they feel lonely due to their living situation – the equivalent
of nearly three million Britons. And with the number of people living alone
predicted to rise, the number who feel lonely is likely to reach
