The latest data and analysis from Nationwide has revealed that average UK house prices have continued to recover during August and saw the highest monthly rise in more than 16 years. According to the lender, annual house price growth picked up to 3.7% in August with prices up 2% month-on-month, after taking account of seasonal factors.
