The TSA's formal regulatory powers are due to go live on Thursday 1 April 2010. In anticipation of this, HouseMark's Steve Smedley has put together an advice note explaining how the TSA proposes to use its formal regulatory and enforcement powers. This pulls together information from the Housing and Regeneration Act, various TSA consultation documents as well as the government's Regulators' Compliance Code. It addresses:
*what powers are available
*who the powers apply to
*how they will work in practice
*when the TSA will invoke its powers
