Birmingham Council plans to launch a social lettings agency
to provide access to private rented property to people in housing need. The service would provide access to 40
private rented homes a week, according to details outlined in a report
originally intended to be considered at a cabinet meeting in January. The
council’s plans are designed to take pressure off its housing waiting list, on
