Nottingham City Council is being invited to bid for a £20
million pot of Government cash to help makes homes greener. The money will be
used to help homes install energy efficient home improvements, such as
insulation and cladding. The authority will be asked to identify streets and
areas that could most benefit from the Green Deal, and then offer incentives to
households in these areas to encourage them to have work done to improve energy
efficiency. Read more on the Nottingham Post website.
