Families are campaigning against plans to build new homes
on sites across the city, drawn up partly in response to the "bedroom
tax". Derby Homes wants to build on former gardens, grassy areas and
domestic garage plots to create "much-needed" homes. But people
living in some of the areas earmarked for development say the proposals are
"land-grabbing" and will destroy green spaces used by children,
