Secretary Danny Alexander has been slammed – by his own father. Housing
association boss Di blasted it as “particularly unfair” in a stinging attack on
the Coalition. His condemnation of his son’s favourite welfare reform can be
revealed as Labour prepares to call on David Cameron and George Osborne to
ditch the tax in a crunch Commons vote on Tuesday. He said tenants forced out
of their homes could not find alternative places to live and revealed that the
Government’s welfare shake-up meant “considerable challenges” for his housing
association’s tenants in Lochaber, Scotland. Mr Alexander added: “The so-called
